I had the chance to meet Iron Flame's amazing author Rebecca Yarros when she made a stop in Columbus and she was every bit as amazing as I suspected. She spent hours meeting fans and did an FAQ around the book. The thing that stuck with me was the the idea for her novel came from a world where dragons kept people as pets. As an author I love hearing how ideas come to other authors, especially someone like Rebecca who is truly an inspiration. My friend was with me who has a chronic illness and Rebecca was wonderful to her, as well, allowing her to come in a side door that required fewer steps and meeting with her early so she didn't have to wait. Rebecca is truly inspirational!
